Crossroads Christian Academy endeavors to provide a situation that gives ourselves and other homeschool parents academic support, and our high school students a community of believers with which to learn and grow. In 2004 we started a school from which students could graduate with a diploma. We provided most of the necessary classes for graduation, and accepted the classes taught at home for credit toward the diploma.
In 2011, we decided to change our structure to reflect the changing needs of the community that we serve. We will no longer charge tuition, but only a small facility fee to cover rent and a few other fixed expenses. We try to offer as many free classes as possible. We will offer fee-based classes as well, where the families will pay the instructors directly.
We have found that many homeschooling parents are intimidated with the thought of preparing transcripts and ensuring that their student has all the classes that he or she needs. We provide assistance in two ways. You can choose to have CCA prepare your transcipt and award your student a diploma. The transcript will include classes taught at CCA as well as those you teach at home. Or you can prepare your own transcript, with our help if you like, and issue your own diploma. Either way, seniors can participate together in our graduation ceremony.
We offer classes at Centennial Covenant Church, 401 W. Mineral Ave., Littleton, CO, 80120 , on Mondays and Thursdays. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays your students will work at home to complete their assignments.
We are currently accepting student registration. Please see the Admissions Forms tab to the left, and contact us with any questions.
We are also accepting applications to teach both free and fee-based classes. If you are interested in teaching at Crossroads, please send an email to the address below and we will provide you with application forms. See the FAQ on which classes we welcome teachers for, or submit a class that could be used for an elective.
